Directions:

  • Add, heat 1 table spoon of vegetable oil In a pan. Add the chopped onion and cook until it turns translucent, stirring occasionally.
  • Add ginger garlic paste. Cook at low flame.
  • Add the ground chicken and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until it is fully cooked and no turned white. Make sure to break up any clumps of chicken as it cooks.
  • Add cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric, garam masala, cumin seeds, carom seeds and salt, Stir well and cook for 7-10 minutes. Now add cabbage, parsley leaves and mint leaves. let the mixture cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Once the chicken mixture is fully cooked, remove it from the stove and let it cool down for a few minutes.

Samosa making

  • Take a samosa wrapper (Samosa Patti) and fold it in half to form a triangle. Apply a little water to the edges of the wrapper to seal it shut.
  • Add a tablespoon of the cooled chicken mixture to the samosa wrapper and fold the top over to form a second triangle, pressing the edges to seal. Repeat for all samosas.

  • Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.
  • Once the oil is hot, carefully place the samosas in batches and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the samosas and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
